Abstract
This discussion will explore the current landscape of collegiate athletics, emphasizing the representation of people of color in leadership positions. Panelists will discuss their lived experiences, the impact diverse leadership can have on the athletic culture, and the student-athlete experience and share their opinions on ways to improve diversity in sports leadership. By the end of the presentation, our audience will have an increased awareness of the current state of diversity in sports leadership, drawing attention to specific statistics and trends.
