Why Representation Matters in the Classroom

Abstract
Why does representation matter in the classroom? And what can I do about it? While you can’t change what you look like, you can be creative and intentional on how to incorporate representation within the classroom. After a short presentation you will get the opportunity to communicate with a panel of students speaking on the matter, which will include how these current students feel in the classroom, given suggestions, and what level of connection they feel on campus.
