Overcoming Hurdles on the Path to Education for Undocumented LatinX Students

Undocumented students face multiple challenges on their route to higher education. In this presentation, we will explore those hardships that undocumented LatinX students face while they strive for success in higher institutions. We will share a brief synopsis of university policies and state and federal laws that impact the experiences of undocumented LatinX students. Additionally, our team will propose a variety of recommendations that students, educators, and administrators can consider when looking to improve the experiences of undocumented students in their communities.
