The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is a faculty staff association established on Iowa State University campus in 1970’s. The purpose of this organization is to serve as a platform for Black faculty and staff to vocalize their thoughts, concerns, needs and ideas to support the overall mission of the institution. Through a panel design, this session will highlight the history of BFSA on ISU campus and provide insight into the current experiences of black faculty and staff on campus.
