Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) and transgenic traits for management of corn rootworm larvae. The rootworm hybrid evaluated in this study was VT4PRO™ which contains a pyramid of one Bt rootworm trait (Cry3Bb1) and an RNA interference trait (DvSnf7). Additionally, a non-rootworm traited hybrid (VT Double Pro®) was included. The EPN treatment was applied to half of the field, with VT4PRO™ and VT Double Pro® then evaluated in both the EPN-treated and untreated areas.
