Abstract
Turfgrass cultivars are being released for improved performance and fewer inputs. The Alliance for Low Input Sustainable Turfgrass (A-List) is an organization that requires turfgrasses to be high performing and improved varieties to meet their certification. As part of their program tests of independent cultivar performance for various species around the United States with various maintenance and environmental conditions are conducted. These trials help turfgrass breeders prove their performance and end-users gain access to data on turfgrass cultivar performance in their regions.
