Evaluation of a Bioprocessing Bi-Product as a Nutrient Source in Continuous Corn Crop Rotations

Abstract
The increasing emphasis on sustainability and circular economy in agriculture has led to the exploration of bioprocessing by-products as potential nutrient sources. Evaluating these by-products is essential for improving nutrient recycling efficiency and reducing dependency on conventional synthetic fertilizers. This study focuses on the application of a bioprocessing by-product, the Valent product, in continuous corn crop rotations to assess its effectiveness as a nutrient source compared to traditional anhydrous ammonia.
