Abstract
The objectives of this project were to 1) evaluate a first calf heifer’s growth and reproductive performance when using either a starch or digestible fiber-based supplement from calving through the first month of breeding season, and 2) conduct an economic analysis to compare a fiber-based supplement to a starch-based supplement.
