LAiYERS Water Quality and Soil Health Projects

Abstract
The site was designed to compare the environmental and crop yield impacts of combined management practices, including poultry manure application timing, reduced tillage, and cover crops in a corn-soybean rotation. Soil samples were ollected at the beginning of the project to evaluate and document the initial soil health and nutrient level characteristics and strategically throughout the year to monitor available nutrients.
