Dual Chamber Pumped Bioreactor - Uthe Site

Abstract
The dual-chamber bioreactor was installed at the Uthe Farm in 2018, adjacent to Big Creek to treat subsurface drainage from a main 14” tile line. An additional 16” existing tile was routed to the bioreactor to increase flow in 2019 and a umping system was added in 2021 to pull surface water from Big Creek to maximize the volume of water treated with the bioreactor and extend the treatment season beyond the subsurface drainage season at the site.
