The Archival Bridge
Abstract
Once upon a time state archival groups stood alone. The emergence of regional organizations such as MAC forced many state groups to face a new reality. A newly competitive archival world prompted them to readjust their goals and priorities. Cooperation between archival groups must be part of this readjustment. Through cooperation the state groups and the regionals will benefit, as will the larger archival profession.
