Farm to Fashion: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Teaching Fiber Production, Sustainability, and Slow Fashion

Abstract

A multidisciplinary approach that utilizes university programs and resources that have a direct impact on the development of fibers, fabric, and fashion. Through experiential learning, students gain an understanding and appreciation for regenerative farming, sustainability, organic fibers, natural dyes, textiles, and slow design.
