Nature’s Collage
Abstract
This design is inspired by the transformative spirit of 1920s fashion, an era marked by the emergence of the "New Woman." Influenced by the era's loose-fitting garments and oriental motifs, the designer integrated a loosely fitted apparel style with sunflower and leaf motifs to symbolize the New Woman’s independent spirit. The incorporation of 3D simulation technology into the design process highlights the innovation and efficiency in the apparel industry. These garments seamlessly bridge historical inspiration and contemporary fashion. By adopting Design Thinking methodology, the designer effectively merges traditional aesthetics with advanced techniques. The use of CAD technology further reflects a commitment to sustainability and technical innovation. This design project celebrates the harmonious integration of past and present, offers a fresh perspective on the New Woman’s fashion style, and serves as a valuable example for future design projects in the apparel industry.
