Abstract

Textile testing class with 20-textile testing laboratory has been developed to be a partial review of the fundamental knowledge gained in textile fundamentals through the use of review quizzes, video for textile testing equipment, and laboratory writing assignments. The learning activities are also extended from the classroom to the playful learning environment (PLE), an innovative playground enriched by technological tools. Curriculum-based learning was provide by instructor through the use of game co-creation, play, and computer (and TV show) games, along with activities that discussed textile quality outside of the normal setting of the classroom.
