Exploring Wearable Technology: Design Attributes of Solar-Powered Book Bags Concerning Millennials

Abstract

This paper discusses the product development process of creating a solar-powered book bag that uses photovoltaic cells to charge a portable battery. It starts with mixed method data collection and analysis, includes textile testing procedures and results, and concludes with a final design and fabricated product. This product incorporates renewable energy into the lives of everyday users.
